The Best Parts of D.C. for Apartment Renting

Washington D.C is one of the hottest places to rent an apartment on the East Coast. Thousands of people a month are searching for Washington D.C. apartments.

There is no question of why either. It’s a safe place to live, the job market is booming, and the landmarks are one of a kind. There will never be a shortage of things to do within Washington D.C. You want to find a new restaurant weekly, you can. You want to have options for different bars to have a drink at, you will. If you love shopping, it will be plentiful.

With that being said, there are some parts of Washington D.C. where it is better to rent an apartment than others. Let’s take a look at some of them!

Capitol Hill

By living in Capitol Hill, you will get that urban living feel. Capitol Hill is also super safe as you not only have D.C. police monitoring the area, but you also have capital police.

Capitol Hill is a beautiful neighborhood that is booming with local businesses and restaurants all most likely within walking distance of your apartment. On your walk, you will come across some of the nicest people you’ve ever met.

Plus, if your career is in politics, this is most likely where you want to reside.

Edgewood

A lot of people who already live in Edgewood will tell you there is no better place to live. The community always comes together, the vibe is that most individuals are super friendly, and the location is great within the D.C. metro.

Woodley Park

Woodley Park is one of the most residential neighborhoods within Washington D.C. While there won’t be as much to do as a place like Capitol Hill, you may be the type of person that likes to hike trails and ride bikes. If that is the case, Woodley Park is where you should be apartment hunting.

You will only be a drive away from a place like Capitol Hill too.

Foggy Bottom

Foggy Bottom is the ultimate rental neighborhood in D.C. It’s where most students and young professionals will reside. It’s filled with bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. The nightlife will be some of the best you can get on the East Coast.

Plus, the parks are a perk if you are a renter with a dog. Walks will be great in Foggy Bottom!
