Jumping On Trampoline Is Good for Everyone – Brief Detail On Selection

Researchers around the world recommend physical activity for children and adolescents. Through movement, children develop their motor skills and learn to walk – knowing that we should all use more.

In childhood, the body develops both physically and cognitively and mentally. Our organs and body grow, we learn to wait for our turn, and learn to listen when someone speaks to us. We owe all of this to the movement!

Studies have also shown that physical activity in children and adolescents can often have a positive impact on school performance. In some studies, homework time was even reduced in favor of time spent on physical activity, and yet no negative effects on school performance were found.

Therefore, learning to move and jump about children seems to be an important key to wellbeing. The same applies to the seniors. However, we have the best trampoline for adults that are suitable for both, seniors and children.

Physical activity in children between the ages of 6 and 17 brings health benefits and a lot more:

  • Improved stamina
  • Increased muscle strength
  • Improved bone health
  • Cardiovascular health (lowering of high blood pressure and improved blood lipid profile in children with high blood pressure and increased blood fats (lipids))
  • Metabolic health (some reduction in body fat in children and adolescents who are overweight / obese)
  • Increased self-esteem, less depression
  • Improved performance / test results in school

The health benefits of physical activity are ranked greater than the potential risks.

Which Trampoline Shape Is Right for You?

When choosing a trampoline, the shape plays an important role.

Round trampolines

The round trampoline is a real classic. Advantages of this shape are the spacious jumping area and the fact that you are automatically pulled towards the middle when jumping – an advantage especially for inexperienced jumpers. Best trampoline with basketball hoop

Oval trampolines

If space is limited, an oval trampoline can be a good alternative as it is easier to place, for example in a corner of the garden. The oval shape also scores with excellent spring properties.

Ball games are particularly fun on an oval trampoline, as the area can be used as a football field, for example. An oval trampoline is also an ideal choice for all jumpers who want to practice tricks and somersaults. The long jumping area offers plenty of space for flick flacks and trick combinations.

Rectangular trampolines

The ideal shape for athletes! The Trampolines Guide’s Athlete and Performer models were developed for experienced jumpers, competitive and extreme athletes. Rectangular trampolines offer extremely powerful rebound. The Trampolines Guide’s Athlete combines years of experience and innovation in an extraordinary trampoline.

How Much Time Do I Need to Set Up a Trampoline?

That depends a little on the model, but usually two people can set it up in 1.5-2.5 hours. It takes less time to dismantle it in autumn and thanks to the experience gained the first time, it will be faster the next time. There are assembly videos for most of our models on our YouTube channel. The videos can also be found in our online shop on the respective product pages.

Why Should I Choose a Premium Trampoline from Trampolines Guide?

Trampolines Guide offers safe trampolines in an attractive design that are fun not only today, but also tomorrow and for a long time to come.

When developing our products, we focus on quality, performance and safety. Our trampolines have a stable, durable frame and a sturdy edge pad. The safety net is particularly robust and the springs are carefully matched to the size and shape of the respective trampoline. Thanks to the powder coating, the legs of our trampolines are particularly reliably protected from rust.

It goes without saying that our trampolines are CE marked and meet all legal requirements. We also have our trampolines checked by certified test institutes and ensure that all parts meet our high quality standards.

Highlighted Features of Oval Trampolines

The first trampoline we developed was the oval Legend 510, which became a huge hit and was available in other sizes as early as the following year.

It was 2012 and a lot has happened since we started. Back then, oval trampolines were relatively rare, today they are an established and extremely popular shape for trampolines. There are several reasons to take a closer look at an oval trampoline.

Below, we have highlighted three reasons for choosing an oval trampoline:

  • Trampoline with an elongated jumping surface for gymnastics, tricks and fun

The most obvious difference to a round trampoline is the shape. An elongated trampoline, for example, offers good opportunities for gymnasts who do flick-flacks and want to move on a long surface.

Sooner or later a soccer ball lands on the trampoline and then the oval trampoline becomes a surface on which you can play soccer.

  • Easy to place and space saving

The oval shape makes it easy to place a trampoline in gardens with limited space. You may also consider whether the trampoline in your garden would attract too much attention from a purely aesthetic point of view. An oval trampoline is perceived as subtler due to its elongated shape.

  • Good jumping abilities

We have worked hard to find the perfect balance between the size of the frame and the preload of the springs, which has resulted in very good jumping abilities in our oval models. Our two oval trampolines Pioneer Oval and Legend Oval have slightly different properties. If you want a softer jump feel, you should rather take a look at our Pioneer Oval. If you want to be able to adjust the bounce yourself, our Legend Oval would be more for you. The Legend Oval includes spring extensions so that you can adjust the bounce yourself.

The oval shape also creates two zones on the jumping surface. So if there is more than one jumper on the trampoline, you can jump relatively undisturbed from each other if you are at each end of the jumping area. This reduces the risk of collision.
